The creme brulee of fried chicken.
The quality of the chicken + the batter is more than enough reason to visit, but all other items on the menu are fantastic.
Crack Shack is a bit underrated amid all other Angeleno culinary mediocrity, so please do yourself a favor and stop by for legit chicken and drinks. -

The biscuits were delicious with the honey butter.
A bit on the pricier side for fried chicken which I get, I can tell the chicken was high quality.
I wish the chicken's spices were more intense and the texture more crispy. I was expecting more of a flavor burst in my mouth.
Great staff. Beautiful restaurant. -

Mehhh, I had high hopes for this places but sadly wasn't satisfied.
To begin with, the restaurant is located in the Westfield shopping district across Nordstrom's and parking isn't free(cost $4 for a Friday afternoon).
So instantly I'm not a fan of paying for parking but I didn't take of any stars for that reason as it's LA, expected.
Moving on to the food, I tried the fan favorite firebird sandwich and it failed to impress, I'd be ready to say chic fil a has a better chicken sandwich and I'd totally pick them over this place. It's also a bummer that I'm paying $12 for a sandwich and getting no sides, the chicken sandwich wasn't great to begin with to come alone.
The chicken sandwich had a couple of topping but the sandwich still came out flavorless despite them and it wasn't spicy despite its name.
If I'm up for a beer and maybe a random chicken sandwich I'd stop by here as the place does have a bar and TVs for the games, other then that save your money and check out other spots as there are WAY better chicken sandwiches in the LA area. -

This Fried Chicken is like Crack in a can baby! It's fresh, crispy and comes with just the perfect amount of seasoning to compete with the best of them out there. Not to mention they have a plethora of dipping sauces to choose from, including sriracha mayo to home made ketchup.
I've tried everything here from their traditional fried chicken, chicken sandwich, chicken oysters, their fries, etc. and it's all great. Be sure to get a large order of fries though, because you and your friends will be fighting over every last one. The unlimited fountain drinks are also tasty af, as they have unique cane sugar flavors here to satisfy your soda cravings.
Whether you're here to catch the local sports team play, or have a nice family dinner, the Crack Shack definitely delivers. Their staff and service are also top notch. My only complaint would be that I wish they had more than 1 restroom, otherwise it's near perfect! -

I normally do not review joints that are not gluten free friendly as I am 20 year Celiac. This is a fried chicken restaurant but there are salads, which I had one without the tortilla chips as I was told they contain gluten, with grilled chicken. The salad was very tasty and the vibe of the place was cool. I was taken here on a business meeting and my compatriot wheateaters enjoyed their food which looked delicious. For those with GF issues, I would not recommend this place unless you are really into salads. It is situated in the modernized outdoor huge Westfield Mall in Century City which is interesting to peruse but will cost you in parking.
